This is a great TDS meter and test set. Meter reads the total dissolved solids from 0-1999 ppm (mg/l), the accuracy is 2%. Comes with three bags of calibration solution and stable case. TDS meters are also used to test reverse osmosis systems, which are used to remove minerals from water. You can use this meter to test if the output water of your system is ok, or if you need to replace the filter membrane or ion exchange resin of your reverse osmosis system. There are many other applications for this TDS Meter, for example in testing pools and pond water or aquariums. Operation is easy, just press the button to switch it on, dip it in the water and read the results. Per customer request I now offer a complete test set, this includes the meter, 3 packs of calibration fluid (TDS1382 = 1382ppm at 77 degree F) and 3 plastic cups for the calibration process. I also include an instruction sheet on how to make your own "quick check" calibration fluid. You can use this "quick check" solution to make sure the meter is working right each time you use it, and only use the expensive TDS1382 calibration fluid once a year. Read more
