Tap Master IRON can remove up to 98% of Iron, hydrogen sulfide, chlorine, chemicals, heavy metals, solids, and other contaminants from your well or municipal water source. The advanced redox media alloys found in the Tap Master IRON filter act as catalysts to change soluble ferrous cations (clear, dissolved iron) into insoluble ferric hydroxide, which is then trapped in the IRON filter?s sediment filter layer. With enough oxygen dissolved in the water, iron removal rates of 98% or better are possible. The steady water flow from a typical home RO system will take about 40 seconds to fill a pitcher or large spaghetti pot.
